A skimming of the Rand paper doesn't give proper credence to clandestine labs operating in Canada and increasingly in the US. Why deal with the heavily guarded and cartel controlled Southern border when you can ship bulk precursors into Canada with less scrutiny and produce industrial quantities of chemical overnight then easily traffic wholesale quantities over the border disguised as ordinary tourism or business travel at will? Of course, it goes nearly without needing stating that any bulk precursors manufactured in China will be produced only with permission from the CCP. It, therefore, goes to reason that the CCP is aware of the bulk precursor shipments to at least a sufficient degree to suspect clandestine fentanyl production nearer to the shipping destination.

The problem of fentanyl can't be stopped. The drug is too cheaply manufactured and too easily trafficked for effective enforcement at the higher levels of the drug distribution hierarchy. You'd be lucky to catch a wholesaler.

It's also telling how everything from benzodiazepine to cocaine and other stimulants and weed are being reported laced with fentanyl. Why lace drugs with often opposing effects? To create health and addiction chaos. To further destabilize the US by creating armies of people incapable of maintaining gainful employment in an era of pre-existing economic and cultural demoralization. This is an extension of Mao Zedong's Vietnam era 'Chemical Warfare by other means'. More evidence of CCP's chemical warfare just appeared in my RSS feed yesterday where there seems to be a surge in "irreversible" overdoses of fentanyl mixed with an obscure "horse tranquilizer" sometimes sold as ketamine, manufactured under the tradename of xylazine. This trend started and remains most prominent in Canada. Canadian seizure and use patterns are inconsistent with expectations if Canada were not a major trafficking hub for fentanyl.
