For the eschatology buffs in the audience, an end time data point is the 'destruction of Damascus in a day'. (Isaiah 17:1-3, 7) & (Jeremiah 49:23-27) Palmyra is a little over 100 miles away, so maybe... whats a 100 miles to a major nuclear detonation?
