Sayf Al-Adl is the leader of Al-Qaida. He is believed to be located in Iran. In a recent pamphlet, Sayf called on supporters all over the world to come to Afghanistan, to train and to engage in jihad worldwide. Sayf has officially declared Afghanistan a safe haven for international jihadist terrorist groups.
As with corporate America these days, many IC employees will try to keep their heads (proverbially) buried in their computer monitors, hoping to be "grey man" until this blows over.
But the political officers, I mean diversity personnel, are keeping notes on who's naughty and who's nice. Those who openly question or oppose will be purged (terminated). Those who try to "grey man" and appear neutral will be marked for non-promotion (if not worse).
The cynical who will do anything to move up the ranks will parrot and participate, even if they don't like it.

The absurdities had already invaded the military ranks and forced non-conformist to leave, so it is not surprising the IC will use the same tactic to flush out reasonable employees for discharge.
Trying to see a bright side here: perhaps under a new president it will be easy to assume that anyone left in IC will need to be replaced as unworthy.
