As a precinct committeeman, it I have been trying to let others know that GOP endorsement BEFORE the primary is WRONG, and dare I say, UNCONSTITUTIONAL "in spirit", if not "in letter"! THE PARTY HEADS ARE EXACTLY WHY OUR COUNTRY IS WHERE WE ARE RIGHT NOW....ON THE EDGE OF A CLIFF.
I don't reside in PA, so can't opine on "the locals." That said, for over a decade now I've referred to Cutler / Mitch McConnell type "Republicans" as "Vichy Republicans."
IMHO the analogy fits now more than ever.
We're living in "binary choice" times: side with good vs. evil; side with the U.S. as founded or a Collectivist state; side with "the underground" patriots vs. the "Vichy" collaborators.
