Several years ago not long after the “election” of Joe Biden, I was contacted by an old colleague from CIA. He and I were never close, and it surprised me to see an email from him in my inbox. Turns out he wasn’t reaching out to catch up. He was taking a moment to gloat.
While reading this piece - regarding the DOJ, FBI, CIA and most of the media - the phrase "accessory after the fact" came to mind.
That, as defined by the online Cornell Law School online law dictionary, is:
"An accessory-after-the-fact is someone who assists 1) someone who has committed a crime, 2) after the person has committed the crime, 3) with knowledge that the person committed the crime, and 4) with the intent to help the person avoid arrest or punishment. An accessory after the fact may be held liable for, among other things, obstruction of justice."
In this matter, I submit that a new phrase - "traitor after the fact" - is not just equally applicable, but even more applicable.

These people are/have been criminals for most of their lives so more than likely the National Security issues will not be punished unless the entity of DOJ and FBI are appropriately cleaned and cleared out.
