When Joe Biden took office he began immediately to take a series of actions designed to effectively erase our southern border and allow the entry not only of illegal immigrants but of all manner of dangerous substances. Chief amongst these is fentanyl which annually kills in excess of 100,000 Americans.
I am loathe to defend Taiwan or Ukraine - or really any other nation. You name it, Israel, Germany, Japan (I have family members who would roll over in their graves were we to send men into battle to defend either Japan or Gemany, both were HATED by the men who fought those animals) - any of them. But...
When we have narco-war lords with effective control over much of Mexico, and running not just fentanyl by also human beings into our nation at destructive rates, my only question is why such orgs wouldn't be legit targets for our military? We spent so much time and blood and money building up an amazing spec-ops force projection capability to use on militants (many of whom are not terrorists, lol) - why would we not direct that towards the cartels? Looks to me like they would be a perfect weapon against them. We don't want to hold territory we just want to eliminate their capability.
