During the recent Conservative Political Action Conference in Dallas, Texas the Epoch Times interviewed Pennsylvania Congressman Scott Perry about his views on the threat posed by Communist China. Said Perry, “We need to quit this viewpoint that they’re a strategic competitor. China and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) (see) the United States as their enemy. And they treat us as such. It’s time we start acting like there’s an enemy out there.” Perry went on to suggest that the United States should classify the Chinese Communist Party as a transnational criminal organization.
CCP directed spies have infiltrated every aspect of our lives, particularly our universities, tech companies, government and labs. I run a agriculture equipment business with my wife who is from Taiwan. We also have operations in Taiwan and even in the agriculture field Chinese spies are everywhere stealing technology and techniques and innovations honed at our universities. Since we both speak Chinese we overhear conversations by these thieves at conferences and exhibitions.

It's disturbing that this country finds itself in the position that this is plausible. The MOST disturbing thing though is that this is the MOST plausible explanation.
