If you think about it, the people will be given the option to vote for a candidate that will be beat by the opposition. This will lower the integrity, intelligence, and lower ability to make governmental decisions of the winner in any primary. Just look around the country.

Politicians represent their lobbies and party leaders. They used to represent their constituents. No longer. PA Americans need to get involved with their elected officials and nicely demand representation. Rebublicans put their money into the party. It is time to put their voices and bodies in the eyes and ears of their representatives. Why don't Libertarians change their party? Why don't veterans register to vote? These questions need to be answered first.

All through life I have vetted all levels of acquaintances, businesses, literature, churches I'm to attend, and what official deserves my vote. Employers vetted my resumes for employment. How is access to primaries different? Anyone not vetted in any political party should not participate in any primary. Period. You are not vetted. Get over you right of entitled venture. You are not welcome.

As an Independent and a conservative, I have always appreciated being able to vote in primary elections in Massachusetts and now in New Hampshire. I am not by nature a political animal, but I wonder if no one had to register as either party, those elected might be more honest and do a better job of representing all of us and not just playing to their base.
