Recent reporting has revealed that early on in the Ukraine war the Russians appeared willing to sit down at the negotiating table and talk about a negotiated end to the war. We were not interested. The Neo-Cons were having too much fun “killing Russians” and there were dreams of total victory. We poured jet fuel on the fire and dismissed any thought of the consequences.
Recall how the "The Voice of (not America) the Deep State" corporatist media decried President Trump for his "Rocket Man" comments and fear-mongered that he'd blunder us into a nuclear war.
Instead, we got "peace through strength" - the kind of strength emanated by a resolute President.
Now, a new Axis is a buildin' ... and we have a CCP (amongst others) compromised "Commander in Chief." Instead of "peace through strength" we may blunder into "war through corrupted dementia."
