Four heads of state wrote and formed the UN Security Council on January 1, 1942 making themselves permanent members of this new world’s hegemony: ROC, USSR; UK, and the US. Two years later France became a member, and in 1945 their veto power became law under the UN umbrella.
Much has happened since then; The World bank provided millions/billions in loans to Europe and elsewhere but not to Taiwan. Between 1954-1961 the US provided Taiwan about $800 million in grants. In 1971 Kissinger met with Mao Zedong and the UN recognized the PRC as the government of China against US opposition, and the Republic of China withdrew from the UN.
In 1979 the US recognized the PCR for diplomatic relations with Taiwan and closed its Taiwan Defense Command installed in 1955.
The US/Taiwan Trade and Investment Framework Agreement was signed in 1994. Taiwan is the United States’ ninth-largest trading partner, with total goods traded valued at $90 billion in 2020.
The Taiwan-US Policy Program (TUPP) was launched in 2017 to provide future leaders a deeper understanding of Taiwan and its relations with the United States. Is its time for Congress to pass new trade promotion authority legislation so a US/Taiwan trade agreement can occur?
It is clear to me with this history, that the PTB had every intention of developing China into a super power. I keep hearing that China’s economy is collapsing and it is the world’s largest official creditor. Where does it get money to support the PLA? Looking at history it seems the US is the only one that thinks Taiwan is worth saving but certainly with Milly committing to tell China when the US plans to use military force, I think Taiwan’s capture by the CCP is already a done deal. This leaves the rest of East Asia open to CCP’s hostilities.
You can thank the Corporate Globalists who funded China’s rise to power whether or not it can be countered before China feels compelled to act……?
>>" ... including planning for a leader-level call in the coming weeks."
Who will be on the call for the U.S. side, Obama? Jill Biden?
Probably Timmy Walz , Tom. He speaks the language and has already been bought and paid for.

Could not believe the admin ok’d this bad move. Literally capitulated our stance.
