We Were Lied To Again - Terrorists Flown To U.S. At Your Expense

During the disastrous retreat from Kabul last year, the United States flew out thousands of Afghans and brought them to the United States. We were assured that they were all being properly vetted and that there were no security concerns. Anyone who suggested otherwise was, of course, racist and probably a domestic violent extremist member of a white supremacist cell seeking the overthrow of the government.

“We are conducting thorough … security screening for everyone who is not a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident,” Biden said in August 2021. “Anyone arriving in the United States will have undergone a background check.”

White House press secretary Jen Psaki echoed these assurances.

“Our security vetting process is so thorough that even as people are vetted before they come — they go through a background check before they come — we implement multiple layers of checks, including a confirmation, in some cases, on landing.” Jen Psaki said during the same timeframe.

“The rigorous screening and vetting process, which is multi-layered and ongoing, involves biometric and biographic screenings conducted by intelligence, law enforcement, and counterterrorism professionals from DHS and DOD, as well as the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC), and additional intelligence community partners. This process includes reviewing fingerprints, photos, and other biometric and biographic data for every single Afghan before they are cleared to travel to the United States. We were lied to. Again.

Per a recent Department of Defense report, at least 50 potential terrorists managed to sneak their way into the U.S. despite the promises that this would not happen. DOD now says dozens of evacuees who pose “potentially significant security concerns” were admitted into the country last year.

In case you are wondering exactly what is meant by “significant security concerns:”

“Significant security concerns include individuals whose latent fingerprints have been found on improvised explosive devices and known or suspected terrorists,” the report said.

It gets better. Twenty-eight of the individuals in question have gone missing.
