It’s imperative that we facilitate regime change in Iran, which has destabilized the Middle East for almost 50 years. A pro American pro west Iran would be a counter weight to Turkey, would either cut off sales of oil to the Chinese coms or at least raise the price of oil sold to Beijing damaging their economy & shifting the dynamic of the BRICs attempt to dethrone the US dollar as the reserve currency. Would be an ally or at least a strategic partner of Israel. Yes it is very much in our interest to take down this regime. Not even mentioning the USMC personnel, killed in Lebanon or the thousands of Americans killed and maimed by Iranian IEDs!
