When I was a cop, I and other cops ensured that the constitutional rights of many varied groups were protected. Unless there was violence, their messages, some of which were pure vitriol and hate filled, were permitted. The groups varied from the Black Panthers, SDS (Students for a Democratic Society), to Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. We, police officers, were under the now demonstratively naive impression that everyone was entitled to voice their opinions, even when those opinions were diametrically opposed to our personal beliefs and this country’s welfare. The word naive applies because today’s world has shown that those that were then calling for the destruction of our country really meant it and were working to enforce that destruction. If their real threat had been accurately evaluated and dealt with appropriately, perhaps the violence that is perpetrated routinely today would be marginalized or nonexistent. More importantly, the communist threat would have been recognized and nullified.
History has proved that Joe McCarthy was correct in his analysis of communist influence in government, educational institutions, and the movie industry. Further, Khrushchev’s promise that communism would bury us is closer than ever to becoming reality. The last election provided a glimmer of hope that the communist threat can be held at bay for a while longer. The fact that 75 million people could vote for continuing the criminal, power hungry machinations of the communist democrats is a warning of how tenuous the recapturing of the America of old is.
Perhaps new generations will have learned from the naivete of those long ago young cops: cops who accepted the bogus notion that all speech, no matter how destructive to our way of life, should be protected. Yelling fire in a movie theater when there is no fire is the oft repeated definition of disallowed speech. Since this country is now on fire with hordes of people calling for the overthrow of a duly elected government, the eradication and/or reeducation of the masses of deplorables, the nullification of parental rights to raise and educate their children, the mutilation of children to bolster idiotic claims of the nonexistent mass of multi-gender people, and the destruction of the Jewish people and state, perhaps yelling violent threats and/or actual violence to overthrow this country should also be considered disallowed speech, maybe even treason.
I'm delighted that you've covered this organization, just as I did a little while back on my Substack - Jondalar's Journal - but, as usual, you've done a much more eloquent assessment of their agenda. One could say that their ability to function within the our constitutional republic is because the DOJ has so many issues to investigate. So, über-wealthy individuals are stealthily financing AstroTurf protesters who claim to be "not only to stop authoritarianism but to transform our society into one in which workers are in the driver’s seat" (at least the protesters who aren't there just to get a paycheck).
Those über-wealthy aren't stupid. They realized that the western economies are about to suck dry after years of being asset-stripped by the CCP. (Which used those über-wealthy by allowing them to enrich themselves through the arbitrage of near-slave Chinese labor to then sell their produced goods at inflated prices in the West. The now near-fully deindustrialized West has been incurring debt to try to maintain lifestyles, but before long will find its credit card declined.)
Seeing this coming, the decision was made to expand the CCP model to the West. So they rebranded it "The Great Reset," and used as a pretext a fabricated "climate change" crisis. Hence "by 2030 you will own nothing [and live on a "universal basic income"]." In other words, you'll be near-slave labor, just like your predecessors in what passes for a working class in China.
